Australian Meals on Wheels Association
The Australian Meals on Wheels Association promotes the concept of "care in the community" and encourages and supports the involvement of volunteers in the provision of the Meals on Wheels service in Australia. There are currently two levels of membership in the Australian Meals on Wheels Association. Full members are the peak state organisations for meals on wheels in NSW, Queensland, Tasmania and the ACT, with subscriber representatives from Western Australia and Victoria joining these members on the Board of Governors of the Association.
