Please read the following association rules
Under the terms of our compulsory adopted constitution all members must officially join the organisation and sign an agreement that they will allow an elected committee to make decisions for them. (Once incorporated every new group either agrees to a standard format constitution or they can develop their own at an increased cost of registration). The basic rules of the group under that constitution are:

Each year all committee positions will become vacant and any member can stand for election to the committee or to a particular position on the committee.
Nominees must state their intentions 30 days prior to the Annual General Meeting
An Annual General Meeting must take place within 90 days of incorporation and not less than 30 days after members are notified in writing of the AGM and where it is to be held.
A financial report must be given to the group during this AGM.
The group must ratify the authenticity of the Financial Report and recommend a copy go on record & sent to the appropriate government agency
Each group must elect at least 4 members to take on the roles of President, Secretary, Treasurer & Public Officer
The 4 or more members are elected to the committee & then the committee can then appoint job roles for those committee members
If more than 1 person wishes to nominate for a particular role on the committee the whole membership will elect by ballot the position holder.
All members must register in writing to abide by the decision made by the elected committee
All members must be notified in writing of any fee increase.
The committee can waive fees in certain circumstances.
If a member feels that the committee is not representing the best interests of its members they can raise issues at the general meetings or write to the committee to call an extraordinary meeting to discuss important issues.
